Shema’yah Bey is a writer, composer, and creative producer whose work blends mythology, music, immersive performance, and speculative storytelling. His plays explore ancestry, identity, memory, and the shifting relationship between culture and community — built as original stage productions and multimedia experiences rather than adaptations of anything that came before.

He is the founder of Ninth Ether Studios, Inc. and of ReelEther.com, a platform for vertical micro-dramas, and develops original intellectual property across theatre, literature, film, and emerging media, with a focus on building new dramatic worlds rooted in Black cultural imagination.

His works include Juke: An American Musical, Ase: The Ninth Ether, and the literary series The Ritual.
